International Support for Brands
Since every country has different requirements, Candid may work differently for non-US sellers. The following is a summary of things to be aware of if you're using Candid outside of the US – anything not listed below should "just work" wherever your business is based.
Candid Pay and Catalog Currency
You can sell products and receive payment via Candid Pay in the following currencies:
- United States dollar ($)
- Canadian dollar ($)
- Australian dollar ($)
- New Zealand dollar ($)
- Euro (€)
- British Pound (£)
Please note that the ability to sell in multiple currencies is only available on the Complete subscription plan at this time. If you just sell products in one currency then you can do that on the Pro plan.
Sales Tax / VAT
Because wholesale transactions are tax-exempt in the United States, Candid does not yet offer native sales tax / VAT support. But we're working on it! Until it's fully built out as a feature, you can easily add order-level tax charges as a line item using the Add Custom Product feature:
Language Support
The Candid application and support are currently available only in English.
Currency Conversion
We do not support currency conversion at this time but it's on our list of future product updates!
