Buyer account creation and login FAQs

There are a couple of different ways that your buyers can create an account in Candid. A few of the most common account creation methods are described below.

Different account creation methods

  • Your customer views your shared catalog link, registers for an account and upon verification can begin creating orders with you.
  • You create an order with a retailer and send it to them using the sharable order link. The retailer doesn't need to register and can create their own account via the order link you shared with them.
  • You create an account for your buyer and send them an onboarding link to login to their new account.
  • A retailer finds Candid online and registers for an account on their own.

A brand shares their catalog link with a retailer:

A brand can share their catalog link with someone who isn't in Candid and that person will be able to click "Start an Order" from the brand's wholesale catalog which will then take them through the process of creating an account by having them fill out a quick form.

A brand starts an order with a retailer:

A brand can create an order with anyone outside of Candid by clicking the "New Customer Order" button found on the Orders page. You can learn more about this here: How to create an order as a seller


How to upload your customers to your Candid account in bulk

If you have a CSV list of all your customers we can upload them to your account for you so that your list of buyers show up on your Customers page. Just send us a message with the CSV to: team@candidwholesale.com.

Troubleshooting tips if you or your buyers are having login trouble

  • Check your login credentials - Many people have more than one email and it's super easy to forget which email you signed up with. If you're having trouble logging in it could be because you are entering the wrong email and/or password.
  • Refresh your browser - Refreshing your browser can sometimes "unstick" things and also ensures you are using the latest version of our site.
  • Clear the cache and cookies on your computer - This super simple step can fix many common issues. This is because many popular browsers save all kinds of junk we don't need and sometimes you just need a quick refresh to clear things out. How to do this will depend on which browser you are using. If you are unsure how to clear the cache/cookies, this article can walk you through it.
  • Reset your password - To reset your password go to https://app.candidwholesale.com/sign-in and click on the forgot password link.

How to make sure everyone is getting emails from Candid

Remember to tell your customers to add our Candid email to their address book so that order related emails don't accidently get sent to a spam folder.

Spam filters can sometimes send legitimate emails to junk folders, so we highly recommend adding noreply@candidwholesale.com to your address book.
